ABOUT OUR LOCATION

Cut into the side of the 1300 high Foel Gurig hill, perched above with views overlooking the River Wye and it's valley, nestle Wye View Cottages.We have three cosy cottages, Elan cottage has a double room and twin bedded room, Wye cottage has two twin bedded rooms and Severn Cottage has a double four poster bed.The River Wye runs just below the cottages with views over the Cambrian Mountains. Our own mountain stream runs past the cottages and at night when you are star gazing from your cottage door, you will hear the gentle tumble of the stream. Red kites are daily visitors so binoculars are an absolute MUST for your suitcase. Local pubs provide good ale and meals.The Village Post Office stocks all the basics, the free range farm eggs are not to be missed!!

Red Kites are daily visitors and glide on the thermals above the cottages. As do many other species of birds like the Red Start, Pied Fly Catcher, Nuthatch and all species of tits and finches.
